Hello everyone! My name is Mrs Annie, and I am the director of the Reach Montessori Preschool. I have a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from East China University. I speak Mandarin and English.

When I came to the United States, I continued my studies in ECE at San Jose City College. I later received my Montessori Certification from the National Center for Montessori Education in 2003. I am pleased to be the Director of Reach Montessori Preschool after twenty years of teaching in the Montessori field.

I sincerely enjoy working here with all the wonderful children and teachers. I have always had a passion for teaching and working with young children.

I love spending time with my family when I am not at school. I also like gardening, travelling, and relaxing while watching movies in my spare time.

Ms. Kristy Herrera

Hello, my name is Kristy Herrera. I have lived in San Jose, CA., my whole life. I am very happy to be part of the Reach Montessori Preschool team!

I have a big place in my heart for helping children! I was a volunteer child advocate with CASA for over three years, where I was given the opportunity to spend time with foster children, help them create academic goals, help them live healthy lives; and we even got to go to local sporting events! After I joined RMP in 2022, I began pursuing the Montessori early childhood education credential at the San Francisco Bay Area Montessori Teacher Education Center. I have been a Montessori teacher for two years at Montessori Way Preschool. With my background, I hope to carry forth the pedagogics of Montessori education and to continue to nurture young children with the knowledge, love, and confidence that they deserve in life.

I am excited to be part of your childs preschool experience!

Ms. Grace Pardo

Hi, I am Ms. Grace. I am originally from the Philippines.  At 22 years old, I decided to move and live with my dad in the United States.

First of all, I have always dreamed of becoming an Educator. I gained valuable experience working as a Teaching Assistant/Paraprofessional in Special education, professionally managed students with moderate to severe behaviors, and was trained to become CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certified.

In the past years, I started my BS in Accounting and Finance degree at Southern New Hampshire University. I am pursuing my AA degree in Education in America with a combination of in-person Montessori Training credential courses at the Bay Area Montessori Teacher Education Center. I believe being a teacher has a significant impact on children’s lives. Teachers shape their young minds and prepare them to become productive people in the community.

I love exploring different nature and its finest, having adventures in many places that will benefit for a healthy living.

Ms. Dilshoda Muminova

My name is Dilshoda Muminova ( you can call me Ms Dil). I was born in Tajikistan. I speak four languages: Tajik, Russian, English, and Spanish. I lived in Tajikistan until fifth grade, then moved to Guadalajara, Mexico. After studying in Guadalajara for a year, I came to San Jose with my parents and four brothers when I was 12.

I graduated from Evergreen Valley High School. I am a fully qualified teacher pursuing my AA Degree in Child Development at San Jose City College.

The question arises in every person’s life – what profession to choose? For me, the answer was very simple: I wanted to teach. All because I love children! There is nothing sweeter than the smile of a child whom you have taught something. Choosing the profession of a teacher, I knew, would take a lot of perseverance and patience. A teacher should be a kind, open, caring, insightful, understanding, and exciting person, and I aspire to become just such a teacher. The teacher’s profession is always diverse; it reveals itself every day in a new way, revealing more and more colors. My mission is teaching. For me, the profession of a teacher sounds proud! I am grateful for this opportunity to work at Reach Montessori Preschool. This is my third year of teaching at Reach Montessori Preschool.
